Vulisango Ndwandwa holds a B. Tech Degree in Ceramic Design from Port Elizabeth Technikon, 2002. Over the years, he has worked in just about all the facets of the craft value chain. Vulisango has participated in numerous exhibitions locally and internationally and has work in public and private collections in some of the highly esteemed institutions. After a 2 year stint as a lecturer at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU), he has been involved in numerous community development projects through the arts. As a project leader, Vulisango recruited and transferred skills to the unemployed youth of Port Elizabeth (Piazza Mosaic- Donkin Reserve) and Mthatha (Botha Sigcawu Parkade) through large scale Mosaic public art.
In the past 2 years, he has been working in the North West province at the North West Craft & Design Institute (NWCDI) as Creativity & Innovation Specialist. In this position he interacted with designers and producers from both rural and semi-urban areas, helping them refine their products.
